Sea which till date is one of the major port in India . Since Mangalore lies on
backwaters of Gurupura and Netravati rivers, it is often used to be staging
point for the sea traffic on Malabar Coast .

accessible as Four major National Highways pass through the city. NH-66 runs Panvel to Edapally, NH-48 runs to Bangalore on east. NH-13

Mangalore tourism provides bus service which is mainly
operated by the private operators. The service provides access in two means one
within the city limits while the other is intercity. These buses are available
