Ahmadabad is the ’textile city of India’. That is the reason why it is also known as the ‘Manchester of the East’. Vaishnodevi Mandir: It is a replica of the original Vaishnodevi Mandir which is in Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated on the Ahmadabad-Gandhinagar road.
Manek Chowk: Manek Chowk is the busiest area in the city. It is famous for its gold-trading market. It is located beside the Jama Masjid.
City museum: This museum showcases the most important achievements and aspects of Ahmadabad. In local language this is known as Atit Ki Jhanki.
Modhera Sun Temple: This temple is a must-see place. Modhera Sun Temple is famous for its structural design and contains three prime chambers - Surya Kund, Sabha Mandap and Guda Mandap.
Kite Museum: This museum is one of the rarest museums in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of kites. The most magnificent among those is a 22x16 feet kite. There is another kite which was made out of 400 paper pieces.
